Install A Window Installing a window is not a hard task, but it's for people who sure they know they can do it, installing a window in wrong way can cause a damages and is dnagrous for the environment.
In order to install window at your place you will need the following tools : Large and small prybars, handsaw, reciprocating saw, circular saw, stpladder, folding ruler, torpado level, pencil, power drill, two 2x4s, 1x4s, roofing nails, window, oriented strand board, flashing, hammer, carpenter's square, screws, 12 inchs drill bit, caulking gun, utility knife, insulation, shims, screwdriver, 5 in 1 painter tool, hacksaw, gloves, dust mask, carpenter's level, caulking.

Follow the next steps :
-
First place the screen from your new desired window kit against the wall, where you want the window you are going to install to be, and pencil their in rough outline.
-
Now cut a hole in the drywall by using a circular saw, then pry out the drywall and now you have a chance to look at what you are going to have in the wall (the new window of course).
-
Check for any obstacles in the way like metal strapping there, or existing wiring.
-
Develop a plan to install the new window without damaging any wire and how to overcome on all the obstacles, if needed.
-
Remove any direwall in order to create an opening to build frame, you can use the reciprocal saw to remove strapping, and you mught also cut any unwanted posts by using a circular saw. Moreover you will need to make the final cat with a hand saw.
Now cut 2x4s for the rough sill after measuring the exact sizes. And use 2x4s to support the frame.
-
Go on until you have created a new header board to your window, Use two 2x4s for the header, but turn them so the edge faces downward in order to decrease the chance that the header will bow under weight.
-
A very important thing at this stage, is to check that the window fits the rough opening. It's also a good time to take a brike and to continue with this thing the next day.
-
Use a long(like 12 inches) drill bit to drill holes through from inside to outside at each one the the window opening corners.
-
Set the circular saw to cut through the wall, and just cut out the opening. Use reciprocating saw to cut put the corners for your windw.
-
Put the window at the right place, check for it alignment and if ok, secure with roofing nails.
Good luck.
